Always make sure that you have newer batteries that won't die mid installation, or that fluctuate in power..

Any aftermarket accessories need to be unplugged and their fuses need to be pulled.

Step 3
ALWAYS be sure to Put a battery charger on the truck, set it at 12 volts and 15 amps to keep the voltage above 12.5 volts when flashing the truck. Do not use a jump box, just a simple battery charger like a Stanley.
