- Always make sure you have newer batteries less then 12 months old so unfortunately, the battery industry has massively dropped in quality since 2020 the average lifespan for a battery since 2020 is around 12 months to be able to withstand and hold proper voltage.

ALWAYS be sure to Put a battery charger on the truck, set it at 12 volts and 15amps to keep the voltage above 12.5 volts when flashing the truck. Do not use a jump box, just a simple Real High quality battery charger. If volts drop below 12.5 volts ECM damage can occur. Do not flash ECM if volts are under 12.5.
- Plug tuner into the truck. Next hook the tuner up to wireless internet (Wi-Fi) or turn on the hotspot on your cell phone and connect to that. The tuner will then update to the truck, this can take roughly 10 to 30 minutes. (If this update doesn't work, you will need to download the SCT update agent and update the tuner with it plugged into a computer) (LINKS BELOW)
- Go to custom tuning, select your off-road delete tune to install: SINGLE STOCK/TOW TUNE OR SOTF (Switch on the fly) ONLY install SOTF if you have installed the SOTF switch beforehand. Tuner will download onto the truck, once it is 100% complete you are good to go.

The custom tunes for your vehicle are cloud based - meaning you will need an internet/Wi-Fi connection. As well PC based computer.
- Plug tuner into truck
- Navigate to download tunes section and click yes
- It will ask you to connect to Wi-Fi and you must connect at this time
- It will ask if you want to check cloud for tunes - click yes.
- You will get a list of tunes you can download to you truck. Typically, its easiest to download all tunes at this time.
- You can then change tunes without requiring Wi-Fi in the future
