Exhaust Material - Available in aluminized steel or T-409 stainless steel. Aluminized steel is our most popular but will eventually accumulate surface rust. T-409 stainless steel. Unlike T-304 Stainless its still magnetic. So if your testing to see if you actually got stainless; beware that a magnet will still stick to it. We suggest the stainless upgrade if you regularly operate your truck on salted winter roads. Use drop down menu to make desired selection.
Installation - Install takes approx. 2hr with basic hand tools done on the ground of your driveway or garage. Quicker if you have automotive style lift. Cutting may be be required to fit shorter wheelbase bed/cab configurations. Clamps, hangers and hardware are included. You may have to re-use some factory hardware.
Fuel Mileage - Expect to see a significant increase in fuel mileage. If your DPF is plugged up your probably averaging about 13-14 mpg. More or less depending on the severity of the restriction. After deleting the DPF/CAT expect to get a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg. Larger tires and poor driving habits will skew mileage downward.
Tuner Required - Removal of the DPF, CAT, SCR, and/or DOC involves removing and eliminating emission related sensors. A DPF delete capable tuner is required to prevent any check engine light or diagnostic trouble codes from setting. Description:

We make our exhaust systems stronger where they need to be the strongest with machined turbo flanges. Most of our modern Dodge systems come with a machined flange that matches perfectly to your stock or aftermarket turbo.
The alternative construction of a turbo flange is to over expand the pipe and flare it out. We used to do that, but that process created a weak spot in the 16ga steel and often had to replace downpipes for damages caused by stress and vibrations off the turbo. If you order a kit, your turbo clamp will thank you!

Why would you buy a system that only has 1" of weld holding the hangers on? Your truck works as hard as you do and hangers take a beating. We machine all our exhaust hangers to contour to the shape of the pipe. This allows us to apply a longer bead of weld to the hanger to greatly reduce hanger failure. Where there was once one inch (1") of weld before, now we have 6-7" of weld on our hangers. Using alternative hanger clamps causes unnecessary stress and added time to installing your kit. The clamps don't typically have a whole lot of surface area to weld, so we try and avoid using them as much as possible.

Exhaust pipes were made round, they should stay that way! includes lapjoint style clamps in every kit we sell. Lapjoint clamps keep the pipe round and have two (2) independent bolts that need to be torqued to 50lbft for an everlasting hold. Since the exhaust is not being damaged by saddle clamps or u-bolt clamps, modifications down the road are made simple. If your pipe has been damaged by a saddle clamp, you could end up having to replace your entire exhaust system.
Another bonus is that if you order a stainless exhaust system, we include stainless clamps. Sure, aluminized clamps are cheaper and do the same thing, but you ordered a stainless exhaust! Everything is stainless from the flange, clamps, hanger and even the weld.

1. Due to the nature and use of these items we generally do not accept returns as most items are vin number specific or built to order.
2. We will exchange only if the item is defective. We do recommend professional installation on this item. If the item is defective and cannot be exchanged or fixed a refund of the original purchase price will be issued after requested proof of malfunction and/or damage is given.
3. We do make certain exceptions on a case by case basis for returning products, if your return request is accepted, a 20% restocking fee* will be assessed and applied. Items must include all original packaging. Return shipping will not be refunded.3. Heavy Tow Tune
For those towing from 8,000 lbs up to GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating). +0 RWHP, +55 ft-lbs torque over factory. A wider torque curve assists heavy loads, keeps a balance of sport driving & functionality, and drops exhaust temps up to 100°F under full load.
Light Tow Tune
For those towing any load up to 8,000 lbs. +30 RWHP, +115 ft-lbs torque over factory. Designed for the weekend tower: boats, small tractors, and more. Unhook and enjoy a sportier drive.
Sport Economy Tune
Fun “unloaded” daily driving around town and on the highway. +50 RWHP, +160 ft-lbs torque over factory. Impress your friends and put a smile on your face.
Hot Street Tune
The bridge between Sport Economy and Race: a little more aggressive, but still behaves nicely on the street. +100 RWHP, +235 ft-lbs torque over factory.
Race / Max Effort Tune
Maxes out the factory turbo. +150 RWHP, +385 ft-lbs torque over factory. At this level we highly recommend a WC Fab turbo mouthpiece, a cold air intake, and a FASS fuel system. TCM tuning is recommended for this level.

ATTENTION: No transmission tuning is included unless you select it. If you do, you’ll need to send your stock TCM file to Empire’s engineers to build your TCM tune file. Please be patient. We’ll walk you through the entire process, so no worries, you’ll be in good hands!
EGR Delete Kit
Factory cooler setups recirculate soot and harmful gasses through your engine, causing build-up and clogs that lead to lost performance and proven mechanical issues. Cooler upgrade kits remove those concerns from the equation. DPF/DEF Exhaust Systems
The exhaust is a DPF race pipe or a full 4- or 5-inch system (depending on what is selected). It replaces your old exhaust from the down pipe back, removing DPF emissions components, and is built to work in conjunction with the tuning.
