On all 2020+ L5P's TCM tuning comes highly recommended since it can be a chance that you'll have to take your truck to the dealership and have your TCM updated since your TCM is probably out of date at the time of tuning this is not the end of the world just so you're aware of this so if you don't want the hassle of dealing with the dealership, go ahead and purchase the T 93 TCM tuning above in the drop-downs.

The Exhaust is a DPF RACE pipe or a full 4 or 5 inch exhaust system (depending what is selected) The Exhaust from down pipe back entirely replacing your old exhaust systems and REMOVING DPF emissions components, meant to work in conjunction with the Tuning.

1. Due to the nature and use of these items we generally do not accept returns as most items are vin number specific or built to order.
2. We will exchange only if the item is defective. We do recommend professional installation on this item. If the item is defective and cannot be exchanged or fixed a refund of the original purchase price will be issued after requested proof of malfunction and/or damage is given.
3. We do make certain exceptions on a case by case basis for returning products, if your return request is accepted, a 20% restocking fee* will be assessed and applied. Items must include all original packaging. Return shipping will not be refunded.3. For those towing from 8,000 lbs up to GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating). +0 RWHP, +55 ft-lbs torque over factory. A wider torque curve assists heavy loads, keeps a balance of sport driving & functionality, and drops exhaust temps up to 100°F under full load.
Light Tow Tune
For those towing any load up to 8,000 lbs. +30 RWHP, +115 ft-lbs torque over factory. Designed for the weekend tower: boats, small tractors, and more. Unhook and enjoy a sportier drive.
Sport Economy Tune
Fun “unloaded” daily driving around town and on the highway. +50 RWHP, +160 ft-lbs torque over factory. Impress your friends and put a smile on your face.
Hot Street Tune
The bridge between Sport Economy and Race: a little more aggressive, but still behaves nicely on the street. +100 RWHP, +235 ft-lbs torque over factory.
Race / Max Effort Tune
Maxes out the factory turbo. +150 RWHP, +385 ft-lbs torque over factory. At this level we highly recommend a WC Fab turbo mouthpiece, a cold air intake, and a FASS fuel system. TCM tuning is recommended for this level.

ATTENTION: No transmission tuning is included unless you select it. If you do, you’ll need to send your stock TCM file to Empire’s engineers to build your TCM tune file. Please be patient. We’ll walk you through the entire process, so no worries, you’ll be in good hands!

Pretty straight forward process. Got my 2017 duramax deleted in about 1 day. Instructions get a little confusing but with some YouTube videos it makes the process pretty smooth.

The kit was great with really easy to follow instructions.
It took 2 people about 10 hours to install after I got the tune back.
Still in the process of doing everythibg and ao far the techs are top tier with responding professionally 10/10 up to this point...
This is the 6th kit I've installed on duramax trucks, the tuning process is always smooth and explained wellin the instructions, parts are always at my door fast and damage free, and the customer service has always been amazing. Awesome kit!! This is the first time I have used a computer to do a tune. Usually use a chip like a mini max to do the delete. The kit comes with great instructions and good quality parts. Help was easily obtained through email with questions I had that were answered in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend and use this kit and empire diesels again.
I installed this kit on my 2018 L5P and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out and how much better my truck runs!! The team at empire diesel were incredibly helpful and the tech support responded quickly via email even on the weekend, didn’t seem to matter what time it was either. The PDF instruction guide was good but if you aren’t at least moderately mechanically inclined you may struggle. You for sure need to ant least know what at least 90% of what is under your hood to do this on your own. Overall this was a solid kit and I would easily recommend this kit for anyone looking to wake their factory truck up! Thank you for all your help Empire team!

The entire kit fit perfect. It came with every last piece I needed with nothing missing.
2021 L5P started to have a def level sensor issue that seemed to only show up when I was really needing my truck. Decided to go with the Empire kit and light tow tune based of a friends recommendation. Tuning process was smooth, exhaust install is a bit more involved but totally still DIY. Truck drives incredible, it feels much more willing to get up and go. So far fuel economy is up a few points as well.
I recived my order quickly, everything was packaged very well. The directions for the install are straight forward and easy to follow. I am still finishing up with a few items and zero complaints.
